Dear Stiles Elementary Families,
Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! We are filled with hope and excitement for the incredible learning adventure that awaits each of our students. It is a time for fresh starts, new friendships, and a renewed commitment to our shared educational journey.
We are thrilled to welcome some new faces to our dedicated staff this year. Please join us in extending a warm Wildcat welcome to:
Sara Bushaw, TESOL Specialist
Kelsey Moore, TESOL Specialist
Allison Snyder, Classroom Teacher
This year, our school-wide theme will be "You Matter". This powerful message will be at the heart of everything we do. Each month, we will focus on a specific skill tied to this theme, helping students to understand their value and the importance of treating others with kindness and respect. Our staff is deeply committed to not only fostering academic excellence in reading, writing, and math but also to shaping a school environment where every child feels safe, supported, and celebrated.
As we begin the new year, we want to share a few important updates to ensure a smooth and safe start for everyone:
Student Arrival: Student drop-off begins at 8:00 am. For the safety of our students, please do not leave your child unattended before a staff member comes outside to signal that it is time to release students from your car. This protocol is in place to ensure all children are supervised upon arrival.
Toys from Home: To minimize distractions and prevent loss, we ask that all toys, including baby dolls, race cars, and Pokémon cards, remain at home.
Snacks: We encourage families to avoid sending family-sized bags of chips and other similar snacks to school.
Class Dojo - This app is no longer supported by SWCS. A different app, School Status Connect will be the preferred method for communication along with email. App Store Link and Google Play Link.
We are incredibly excited for the year ahead and the amazing growth we will witness in our students. Your partnership is crucial to our success, and we look forward to collaborating with you to make this a memorable and impactful school year.
Thank you for being a part of our Stiles Elementary family.
Sincerely,
Daniel Peters
Principal
